Pov I’m stroking you RP

I’m sitting at my desk in my office clothes, concentrating on my work, when, out of the corner of my eye, I spot ‘you’, who has quite naturally settled down next to me. With a little smile, I stand up, walk over to him and gently lift him onto my lap. I gently stroke his soft fur, whilst he clearly enjoys the attention. My wristwatch glints in the light as I tell him, soothingly and in a calm, firm voice, that he’ll have to wait just a little while longer. He looks at me intently whilst I continue to stroke him affectionately and enjoy the peace and quiet together. After a few minutes, I gently set him down again, open the door and let him out before returning to my desk.
